28th Nottingham Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association
"This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast"
The Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association is one of the biggest Christian Youth Organisations in the UK and Republic of Ireland. It is committed to seeing lives enriched by supporting children and young people to reach their full potential by providing opportunities to meet together and engage in a range of fun and developmental activities and experiences. There's something for everyone - whether it's Duke of Edinburgh, first aid, five a side, leading worship or craft activities. Members develop skills, build confidence, make friends, take responsibility and are encouraged to make a real difference in their communities - sharing the values that make us who we are.
Our Company meets on Monday evenings during term-time from 6pm - 7.30pm and is open to children from 5 - 17 years. All our leaders are members of St Mark's. We have a Parade Service on the second Sunday of each month that members are encouraged to attend. We also have a band that leads the Remembrance Day Parade and provide the Nativity at church each year.
Please contact our captain, Greg Cowley, if you would like any more information.
